June 2008 -- It's a busy birthmonth! (June 14, thank you very much.) I am pleased to welcome new clients Skin Renew, Centennial Realty Co., Go Green, and Old South Landscaping. These companies will receive various services such as logo and website design, search engine optimization, and AdWords. More info to come on these great small businesses.
June 2008 -- Snow Lion Publications has accepted my cover design for The Dark Red Amulet by Khenchen Palden Sherab and Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal. I will be designing the text this summer. Snow Lion is located in Ithaca, New York, and is the premier publisher of Tibetan Buddhist texts. The Khenpos are Tibetan lamas who escaped after the Chinese invasion in 1959. They are based in upstate New York.
May 2008 -- Welcome to new client, DuBose Conference Center. Based in Monteagle, they are a conference center of the Episcopal Church in Tennessee. I will be designing print collateral to raise funds for one of their buildings which is on the National Register of Historic Places.
May 2008 -- I am pleased to welcome aboard TAAG – Tennessee Agents Alliance Group. Based in Nashville, they serve over 70 agents, allowing them to offer outstanding insurance and financial products.
April 2008 -- I am pleased to welcome Bay Home & Window to my client roster. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, they are a leader in their industry, having received the coveted BBB Honor Roll Award for eleven consecutive years.
April 2008 -- I am pleased to welcome Focus Fitness to my client roster. Focus is a personal training studio designed for one-on-one exercise and coaching. I've been working out there since last November... they rock!

February 2008 -- Snow Lion Publications has accepted my cover design for a landmark biography of Dudjom Rinpoche, Light of Fearless Indestructible Wisdom, by Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal. It features a repeating pattern of Dudjom Rinpoche's insignia, which I found on an old document and turned into a graphic element. I will also be designing the text this spring.

December 2007 -- I am pleased to introduce music label WMI Nashville and country music sensation Correna Ann as new clients.
November 2007 -- I am pleased to welcome new client James-Ben Studio & Gallery Art Center, an acclaimed gallery and award-winning working artist studio located on historic Morgan Square in Greeneville, Tennessee. It is owned by my dear old friends, James-Ben Stockton and Daniel Luther. Their new website is now up, featuring a look that is as eclectic and friendly as their gallery.
November 2007 -- Completed training in Flash CS3 Professional for website motion graphics at Echo•eleven, an Adobe authorized training center in Atlanta. My second class with the inimitable Holly Quarzo, two-time Macromedia Instructor of the Year.
October 2007 -- I am pleased to welcome Naked Stages to my client roster. One of the most innovative professional theatre companies in Nashville, their concept is to start with a bare stage and only add what is essential to telling the story. October 2007 -- New magazine launched for Upper Room Ministries. Named Portico, it is a combination magazine and catalog for the United Methodist Publishing House. It's in a stylish 6"x10" size, suitable for the new mailing prices and small enough to carry around in hand. Editor: Stephen Farrar, Publisher: Jill Ridenour, Art Director: moi!
October 2007 -- New website launched for The Oxford Real Estate Company, with offices in Memphis and Middle Tennessee. Their identity is all about black on black plus silver, yet most websites rely on color for punch. In this case, subtle black-on-black textures achieved the desired result and reinforced their branding.
September 2007 -- New website launched for Tim Disalvo & Company, a master home builder/remodeler in Memphis, TN.
July 2007 -- New website launched for RiverBirch Homes, an award-winning, upscale home builder/developer. Phase One of their launch is 20 web pages, with more features to come in the future.
July 2007 -- I am pleased to welcome Tim Disalvo & Company aboard. Tim is a high-end builder/remodeler from Memphis featured in the July issue of At Home Tennessee Magazine. My first job will be to re-design his website. Special thanks to Mike Boatman, whose excellent interior photography is featured in the above magazine.
