Honda introduced the first 4-stroke outboard engine in America more than 40 years ago. Back then, they were ahead of their time. Today, they’re still leading the way, and their customers can vouch for it. Both J.D.Power & Associates and the National Marine Manufacturers’ Association have awarded Honda “Best in Customer Satisfaction” for the last two years in a row.

And customer satisfaction goes both ways. Honda was so happy with the look I designed for them in 2002, they kept it for four years, with updates each year to keep it fresh. When competitors started imitating their style, it was time to change, tipping our hat to the most sincere form of flattery.
